Jamie & Kim at Elmore Court
Photographing Jamie and Kim’s wedding at Elmore Court meant a lot to me for more than one reason. Jamie and I go way back to university, where we played in a band together, him on bass, me on guitar, playing funk and soul at weddings and parties long before I ever found my own way into photographing them. So being asked to capture this day felt special from the start. Their wedding had so much personality to it, with a ceremony that felt deeply personal, a brilliant atmosphere all the way through, and a venue that brought real character to every part of the day.
This gallery shows the way I love to photograph a wedding day, letting real moments happen naturally and stepping in with calm, relaxed guidance when it is time for portraits that still feel effortless and true.
