How do we book you?
Fill out the form on the contact me section to let me know all about your wedding, especially the date! To confirm your booking a deposit is taken.
How many hours do we get from you?
My package covers your whole day, from the bridal preparations to an hour after the first dance. We will discuss the timings for your particular day to ensure not a moment is missed.
Will we meet you before the day?
Included in my package is a pre-wedding meeting that can happen over the zoom, or in person around the Wakefield area. It's by no means essential to meet in person, as I will get to know you very well via our other communications, but if we can make it happen, I'd love to meet before the big day.
Are you insured?
Yes - I am covered by both public liability insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
How many photos will we receive?
In my 'Full-day Coverage' package you will receive 500+ photos with license for you to print them from wherever you would like. I have my own recommendations of print labs to ensure your prints look there very best.
Will we receive every photo you take?
No - and here's why. In the very nature of my style, documentary photography, photos will be taken that won't make the final cut. Whilst capturing an un-posed moment I use a burst shoot mode and I may capture someones eyes half shut in the first photo, and the end of a moment of laughter in the 3rd photo, and it'll be the 2nd photo of a group laughing at your best mates cheesy joke that is the keeper. And this is what you will receive - a gallery full of belters, all 500+ of them!
When will we receive our photos?
You will receive a teaser 'highlight gallery' within 48hrs of your wedding day, featuring 10-15 photos from your day for you to share with friends and family.
Within 8 weeks of your wedding you will receive an online gallery of all your edited images with:
- Online printing facility
- A user friendly online interface to share your photos with family and friends.
- Video slideshow of your photos
Do you also take formal group shots?
Absolutely! My main style is documentary, but I love to capture a limited amount of formal group shots at a designated time during the day.
How far do you travel?
I cover the whole of the UK and also destination weddings across the most of Europe. Extra fees required for accomodation and travel.
Are travel expenses included in the package price?
Travel is included in my 'Full-Day Coverage' package for up to a 100 mile round trip. Any extra miles are charged at .35p per mile.
I don't know how to pose in photos, can you help?
Absolutely! It's a completely normal concern to have, but there's no need to worry. Even if I do say so myself, I'm a friendly and relaxed guy that will make you feel at ease in front of the camera. I won't be making you feel awkward with bad posing ideas from the noughties. During the portrait shoot part of your day I will give you a little direction on where to stand and subtle movements to make, but overall I let you both have a little laugh with each other and I capture the natural smiles and love between you both.
What if your camera breaks at the wedding?
This has never happened, but I am so ready if it ever does! I have spare cameras, lenses, memory cards, and speedlites - so that's spares of everything I use.
Do you do same-sex marriages?
Absolutely!
Do we get the copyright of the photos you take?
Image copyright belongs to me, Andy Matheson. You are given a license to print and share non-watermarked images with family and friends in a non-profit way as much as you like.
